Introduction

This genealogy of John Fritch, the Ohio Pioneer, with a brief history of his ancestors is assembled as a working edition. It is hoped that anyone with additional or conflicting information will contact the undersigned.

Each member of the family has been assigned a number. This number appears beside the name in the family tree, in the genealogy and in the index.

In the family tree section the first vertical column shows the children of John Fritch and each successive column is the next generation. This chart is included to show graphically the relationship between blood relatives.

The genealogical section shows all vital statistics for each member of the family by birth or marriage.

The index lists in alphabetical order all members of the family by birth or marriage and shows the assigned number of the blood line member of the family and the state of birth, marriage, living and burial.

Throughout this publication the United States Post Office 2-letter State Abbreviations have been used.

Eventually it is hoped to supplement this publication with biographical sketches.

I would like to thank those members of the family who have been so helpful in providing information.
