) -- The GENMatch utility opens two files, searching for matches between
the files. The utility reads GEDCOM, Personal

GENContacts

formerly through Everton Family History ) Identified as
a correspondence and contact management software for genealogists,
GENContacts maintains a database of information about your contacts
while researching. Tabs across the lower half of the window offer recording
of Activity (a correspondence log), Lineage (records
connections of your correspondents), and Subscriptions (genealogy
magazines or societies).

time. The application permits adding graphic images from your files or clip
art.

-- Calisto is a free program which displays most common calendars. The
program enables simple comparisons between different calendars and makes it
easier to understand the calendar changes which have taken place and the
reasons for those changes. The main window shows one year at a time for all
years between AD 1 and 2999, and does this for seven European countries. It
is possible to drill-down so that a four week period can be seen in greater
detail. In the window you can compare dates between many countries and
calendars. Calisto includes regnal years, moveable feasts, holidays, holy
days, Roman dates and more. |
