My Philosophy

Whether I correspond with an individual who is beginning their transition by admitting to themselves that they are gender dysphoric (transsexual), or someone who is post-operative (after sexual reassignment surgery (SRS)) by several years, it seems I am forever hearing --

I can't because....

These pages are dedicated to those people. People who are transitioning from Female to Male or Male to Female. People who have begun a major transition within their life. For, admitting to yourself that you have been attempting to live in the wrong gender, not your true gender, is the initial step of any transition. And, that transition is an on-going process that can last years and can extend well beyond any surgery (such as SRS) that you may wish to have.

At this point, I'll just add a few conclusions. You will learn more about those conclusions by reading the other pages within this section as I write those pages.

bullet

Have faith in yourself. You can achieve whatever you wish if you are willing to preserver.

bullet

Don't allow others to tell you that you can't achieve your goal. Do not give up your freedom as an individual to others who do not care about your welfare.

bullet

Understand yourself. Ask yourself why and keep asking why to learn more about and understand yourself.

bullet

Don't destroy your past. That is your connection to the future.

bullet

Don't end your marriage just because you are a transsexual or born Intersexed.

You must learn to be yourself, to be the person you were born to be, not the person that society believes or insists you to be. As my father-in-law once commented about his own political career:

"Too many people want to be popular around here. I don't really give a damn. If it's the right vote, it will become popular."

Do what is right. Vote for yourself and your existence.
